Our employees are our most valuable asset, which is why we place top priority on protecting their health. Our goal is to generate a safe and healthy working environment. Accident book entries, notifiable and non-notifiable occupational accidents and work-related diseases will be reduced to an absolute minimum.

Respond rather than ignore

Our strategy is to maintain and continuously improve our occupational health and safety management system. We are helped in this by the fact that we are certified according to DIN EN ISO 45001. With its processes, the management system enables us to recognise risks and opportunities at an early stage from which we can determine, define and derive specific improvement measures.

At TUNAP, a separate organisation is responsible for occupational safety. Due to the processes specified by the organisation and through various events, such as internal occupational safety committee meetings, the members are in constant contact with each other and, as a result, are always up to date with regard to occupational health and safety issues. The network consists of various contacts and responsible persons in the areas of occupational health and safety and fire and explosion protection. With this organisation, we generate a safe and healthy working environment.

It is not just a process specified by the standard, rather it is an endeavour shaped by the company's policies to keep developing through the continuous improvement process.

Ultimately, a comprehensive prevention programme is one of our most important tools in the battle against occupational accidents and occupational diseases. For this reason, TUNAP employs an internal expert for occupational safety who continuously determines existing hazards and assesses the associated risks. Plant inspections are also carried out to identify safety-relevant defects or legal discrepancies.

Every occupational accident is recorded by the first responder in an accident book and sent to the occupational safety expert who analyses and archives the incident. Occupational health and safety performance is constantly measured and assessed, for example, by evaluating the recorded accident data. If the above-mentioned activities show that there is a need for action, preventive measures are initiated in accordance with the TOP principle.

A Close Look at the OMC2 Technology

What makes TUNAP's high-performance lubricants so unique? The additive molecules used are of particular importance here. This also applies to TUNAP's OMC2 additive technology, which makes the decisive difference compared to conventional lubricants. We therefore want to take a closer look at this technology: How does it work, what are its strengths and where is it used? more
